DRESSING UP A PLAIN CARDIGAN SWEATER

I made a 50's poodle skirt for my daughter for Halloween last year and could not find a decent cardigan to go with it. I finally found a very bland one at Walmart for $7, and I figured I could spice it up a bit.

Get yourself a plain cardigan, and find some lace. I was doing this the night before a party so all I could find was some old fashioned lace from my grandmas old sewing box.
Line up, pin and sew the lace to the hems of both sides of the buttons and...

...voila. You've got yourself a spiffed up cardigan sweater.
